I love the fair!

Little did Bret know that he was marrying a California girl with a country heart. I love rodeos, the county fair and country music. I know what can I say? We made a trip to the fair last night and it was so much fun. Even more than the food, I love seeing all the animals. My two favorites are the mama pigs with their babies and the Jersey milk cows. They are so beautiful. I also love the fair food. We had corn on the cobb, BBQ, a cinnamon roll and an Orange Julius. Let me tell you I was so full! While we were eating dinner these guys from Kenya did and acrobatic show. It was awesome. I had to get a picture with them, of course! I am glad that we got to go, but man is the fair pricey or what! It was crazy! But still it is only a once a year thing, so totally worth it!

My two favsThe Kenyan acrobats
My new friends
A team of Oxen. This is what the pioneers counted on to get them across the plains. Amazing!
There happened to be a skateboard competition going on, but you had to buy tickets to get in, but here is a really far away pic of Shawn White, AKA, the Flying Tomato.
My favorite fair sight, the baby pigs. Makes me think of Charlotte's web, wonder if she was nearby?? This pigs were only two days old.
This poor mama was in labor. I felt horrible for her, she was pacing around and trying to get comfortable. She was HUGE!
Little country girl!
Bret and Reese with the Jersey cows behind then
That is a BULL, he was BIG!

I love the fair too, it's so much fun, but yes I hate how the food is soo expensive!

That's the one bad thing about the fair. You end up spending $50 on food alone! Let alone all the little carnival games to get your child a small stuffed animal that you could probably buy at the dollar store!

But, we'll be going, and we'll love every minute of it. So proud of you for going on opening night!

I can't wait for my turn at the fair. I'm gonna have me a big ole fatty corn dog and a greasy funnel cake. YUM!

alright cowgirl might have to bring you out to the norco fair thats some country right there! Yeehaw. I'll wear my Miss Norco Princess Tiara and then we can go to maverick, a honkey tonk right down the street from my parents house. Then after the bar room brawl we'll get sent to the norco prison. awww...Good times!
Glad to see the Kenyan dancers are back, my fav!
