Every year we go out to the desert for the professional tennis tournament that they have out there and it is a blast. We always see some stars and we have great seats to watch incredible tennis. I mean INCREDIBLE! We got to see Rafael Nadal and Andy Roddick and we also saw his wife, Brooklyn Decker SI swimsuit model.
Thanks to my parents we had a kid free weekend and it was awesome. We went out to eat, slept in and just relaxed. Also thanks to them for the tickets and thanks for having me grow up a tennis fanatic. I love tennis, too bad I am not very good, but I always watch and I love it so much. I just finished the book OPEN by Andre Agassi, the book has a little bit of swearing, but it is so good. I don't know if I loved it so much because I love Agassi and I remember watching the moments he describes in the book, but it was so so good. He is now married to Steffi Graff, and they have such a great love story. One of my favorite speeches ever he gave about her being inducted to the tennis hall of fame, I mean WOW. This is just a little of what he said:
"You have never defined yourself by what you have achieved; rather, you have achieved by how you defined yourself, And even now, it has taken my breath away to see how you've quietly laid down your racket to pursue love and motherhood, with the same zeal and high standards you have always demanded of yourself. … No one has ever known you to be infatuated by your own accomplishments. … The history books will record for posterity, your ability to embrace and rise above adversity, to play through injury, and to win again, and again, and again. … We have been touched deeply by your life, you have made us better, and we will never be the same. … Ladies and gentlemen, I introduce to you the greatest person I've ever known."
I could go on and on about this book, how good it is and how much I loved reading it but you should just read it even if you are not a tennis fan.
By the way I did get a hair cut, different but fun!

Such a fun getaway that you TOTALLY deserve with your lover!!!! Love the pics of you two. You guys are so cute and such a great pair. Adorable through and through. Love the little bit of his speech. Very sweet and he is awesome. I mean, I don't watch tennis, but totally believe you when you tell me he is awesome! :)
