We Love One Year Olds!!!!!!

Reese turned one on June 29th! We can't believe it has already been a year. We can't imagine our life without our little Reese's Pieces. We had originally planned to have the party on her ACTUAL birthday, but Reese woke up on her birthday with a 104 degree fever and a bad ear infection. So she was basically miserable on her birthday, but thanks to some awesome medicine and a lot of rest, she was well enough to have the big bash a couple of days later! She loved it!

Our Sassy Birthday Girl!!!!!

All smiles for her party

Proud parents

Yay for birthday parties!

Chillin' with daddy, her favorite person!

Reese didn't want to get her fingers dirty, so it took her a while to dig in.

So I was thinking about what kind of cupcakes to make and I REALLY wanted to make the Red Velvet cupcakes from SPRINKLES with the cream cheese frosting. So I went to Williams and Sonoma, they sell the mix there for it and I was so excited, except that maybe the red velvet wasn't the best idea because it was a little messy with the red dye, my fingers still have a little bit of red tint to them, but Reese LOVED them and I loved them too!

Hey Mom! Give me a bite!

Reese got lots of books for her birthday. Books are her absolute favorite toy. She also got a mini lawn mower to help Grandpa mow the lawn with and a baby doll that she loves. She also got some cute clothes.

I still think that her favorite part was getting to dig into that yummy red velvet cupcake. She had such a good time and so did we!

She is just so beautiful! What a fun party. I can't believe it has been a year since you had Reese, and even longer since we left Utah. I can't wait to meet her.

Brooke, so cute! Reese is adorable! I think one year you need to do a "Reese" cupcake birthday party - maybe when she gets it. I love it how she was careful not to get her fingers dirty. She is such a cute girl and ALL GIRL. My Jack would devour that cupcake in a second and wouldn't mind what got dirty as long as he could eat it all. Anyway, I can't wait until they meet. It'll be fun!
