So Long Sweet Summer

I don't know why I am saying buhbye to summer because truly the first three weeks of September in so cal are the hottest. I always remember going back to school and not being able to wear any of my cute clothes because it was too hot to wear all my new "fall attire." But in all honesty after labor day it feels like summer has come and gone all too soon. Here are things that I will miss about summer.....

I love this picture, and it reminds me of surfing and monday night family night a San O with the regulars. This is called "summer love special!" I want this in my new house.
Watermelon, the good kind fresh from the farmstands, so delicious!
I will also miss getting to wear cute one-piece bathing suits. Designers are so much more savvy now about designing a cute modest bathing suit. This is one of my favorites from pearlswimwear. I will miss that a lot.
But alas I love fall, it is probably one of my favorite seasons, and here are a few things that I am so excited about......

The fall colors, even though they aren't THAT great here in so cal, at least we get it a little bit
Football, mostly just High School and college please. I am so competitive and I love a good game


I adore sweaters, coats, boots, jeans, basically everything that you really don't need in so cal, but I love them anyways.

I also love fall because it is when school starts, I know I am such a total dork, but I really miss being a student I love school! I also love that I have a fall birthday! September 27th to be exact! So mark your calendars! Happy Fall and happy first day of school everyone! What's your favorite thing about fall!??
