I thought it might be fun to do a recipe every week on the blog. Today I needed a quick and easy recipe because I have Savior of the World tonight at 5:30. Here it is.
I was so sick of chicken but I didn't want something fattening, so I decided on Pork Chops, so yummy and different! This recipe honestly has two ingredients! So awesome!
First you sear your pork chops in a screamin hot skillet and make sure to salt and pepper both sides liberally. This is just to carmelize the outside do not cook all the way through, that is what the next step is for!
Next get your favorite jar of Pesto sauce (mine is from Costco! their's is stellar!) And in a baking dish you put a spoonful on the bottom then you put the seared porkchops into the baking dish and spoon a little pesto on the chops then bake in a 400 degree oven for 15-18 mins. SOOOOOO good! I sauted some veggies with them and you have a meal that is SUPER easy and SUPER YUM-O. Try it out, let me know what you think!

Maybe I'll be ready to send out Christmas cards when we have an adorable child to show-off. :)
Delish! Can I hire you to make them for us! I may burn them as I am the worst cook!
Wow--do you watch those cookies shows or something? That sounds yummy!
