They really are two of my best friends! I have the best parents in the entire world. No really. I admire my parents so much. They are both my heroes. My dad is the hardest worker I have ever met, no one I know works harder and is more honest than him and my mom is seriously tied with him as the hardest worker ever. She has 5 kids and has always treated us equally and gives us so much of her time. I cannot thank them enough for watching my sweet little one while I was away on my fantastic weekend, even though they still have 3 children ages 13, 11 and 5 years old still at home. Bret and I are so so so grateful for EVERYTHING that they do for us. We hope to be parents like them someday and I hope to be the kind of mother that my mom is to all of us and she is the BEST with Reese. She is one hot grandma!
This is totally a unrelated point in the post, but my awesome grandma called me today and wanted to know a recipe and we started chatting. We talked about whatever and then she asked me how my weekend was and I said oh it was great, we had such a good time just being us. And then she asked what I did and I guess I may have paused, because she said, and I quote, "OH goodness maybe I DON'T want to know what you and Bret did over the weekend!" hahahaha WHAT! I love my grandma! But don't worry grandma, I won't give you any details, just that it was a really good weekend.

Your parents are VERY cool and look just the same as I remember them when I was growing up in their ward. I also remember the young men loving your Dad. Wasn't he in young mens a lot back in the day? Anyway, yes..I concur, you parents are pretty neat!
