Responsibility

Tonight we were graced with Bret walking through the door at 4:00 pm. I was beyond happy. It is amazing when that happens like once a year. We made an early dinner and then we had an FHE about responsibility because we felt like Reese needed to have a few jobs that she could call her own. We talked about responsibility and working hard to earn things. We talked to Reese about the chores that she is responsible for1. Be nice to Charlee
2. Pick up toys in room and downstairs
3. Stay in bed (this is really hard for her and coincidentally it was for me when I was younger:) )
4. Brush teeth
5. Read books
6. No talking back
She is so excited and frankly so am I. When she fills up the chart she can get a treat.
Reese made this self portrait on the first day of school and I love it so much. I think that it is pretty good for a 4 year old, but what do I know! She even included her signature head tilt in the portrait. Very accurate!

Just because I could eat Charlee up right now with her cuteness. She is ready for golfing with her princess golf clubs! Awesome!
